Change starts with education and awareness!
TAT believes by educating and equipping members of key industries and agencies with the information they need to spot human trafficking and report it effectively, millions of people will move from passive bystanders to active disruptors. Check out our TAT brochure to learn more about our mission and goals.
TAT’s training library consists of professionally created, survivor-informed, niche-specific resources that are available at no cost! TAT makes it easy for companies and agencies to implement anti-trafficking training within their existing infrastructures and, by doing so, equip their workforce to better recognize and respond to suspicions of trafficking or encounters with potential victims. Browse our training library to find the right training and awareness materials for your company or agency.

It is essential that your dispatch/911 call takers are trained on the crime of human trafficking, so that calls are dispatched quickly and with as much detailed information as possible. With that in mind, we have worked with Florida Highway Patrol’s Dispatch to create a short, interactive training providing sample 9-1-1 calls reporting suspected instances of human trafficking.

SDLA Indicators of Human Trafficking
Knowing that traffickers may bring their victims to a State Driver’s Licensing Agency (SDLA) for identification documents, TAT has partnered with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to create a guidebook for front counter employees.
To request TAT’s SDLA Employees Guidebook, please contact agencies@tatnonprofit.org.
Civilian Inspectors Indicators of Human Trafficking
Traffickers may transport victims in a commercial vehicle and, when pulled in for weight check or inspection, civilian inspectors may be able to identify and help them. TAT has partnered with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to create a guidance protocol for civilian inspectors.
To request TAT’s Civilian Inspector Guidance Protocol, please contact agencies@tatnonprofit.org.
