TAT announces release of new training for corporate employees

January 13, 2025

For a number of years, many TAT partners have been requesting a training video they could use to equip people across their organizations – not just drivers – to recognize how sex and labor trafficking, and the victims of these crimes, intersect with us in all areas of life. That video, You’ve Seen Us Before,  is now available.

Using a new format for TAT, the corporate video carries a dual storyline. Re-enactments of human trafficking situations, which portray the reality of the crime, are seamlessly woven together with narration provided by a TAT representative, a corporate representative and three diverse survivors (from the US and Canada),  including a labor trafficking survivor, who share insights throughout. From back-office staff to business travelers and executives, all employees can now be activated to be force multipliers in the prevention and intervention of human trafficking.

Regardless of their role in your organization, we think your employees will find this video to be a powerful and effective training about human trafficking, its pervasiveness in our daily lives and the ease with which you might miss it if you’re not aware and don’t know what to look for.

-Esther Goetsch, TAT Executive Director

Please consider implementing this training video across your organization and empowering all of your employees with the tools they need to recognize and report this crime. While not a replacement training for drivers, we understand that some companies may wish to assign this training to their drivers, in addition to their non-driver employees. Please speak with us about how to work this new video into your TAT training cadence.

You’ve Seen Us Before will be available on our learning portal at train.tatnonprofit.org, and will soon be available via SCORM, as well. The training video will be available with Spanish and French Canadian subtitles shortly. To request the full-length corporate video, contact info@tatnonprofit.org, or ask your TAT representative about deployment options and how to best incorporate this video across your organization.

This training video was made possible through the generous donations of UPS and The UPS Foundation, an industry leader driving impact in the fight against human trafficking. To learn more about UPS efforts to combat human trafficking, click here.
