TAT’s mission is based on the belief that meaningful change happens when people are equipped to recognize exploitation and empowered to act. That belief continued to drive our work throughout 2025, as we expanded partnerships, launched new resources, deepened industry engagement and mobilized thousands of individuals across North America in the fight against human trafficking.
Our 2025 Impact Report highlights the collective effort behind TAT’s mission to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of key industries and agencies to combat human trafficking. From members of the truck and bus industries to energy professionals, law enforcement officers, government agencies and corporate employees, countless individuals stepped into the role of active disruptors in their communities.
Throughout 2025, TAT saw continued growth across industries and programs:
- Grew all-time TAT-trained total to more than 2.4 million people
- Increased law enforcement training by 102% over 2024
- Expanded engagement in Canada and Mexico
- Coordinated new partnerships through Coalition Builds and industry workgroups
- Continued growth of the TAT app and corporate training initiatives
- Developed awareness efforts surrounding major events, natural disasters and youth exploitation
The report also highlights innovative initiatives launched last year, including TAT’s You’ve Seen Us Before corporate training video, resources related to the 2026 World Cup, and our expanded efforts to address vulnerabilities connected to natural disasters and public transportation systems.
One major milestone in 2025 was TAT’s 100th Coalition Build, held in Oklahoma City. That event sparked the creation of the Oklahoma Energy Workgroup — a growing collaboration among energy companies, associations and community leaders committed to strengthening anti-trafficking efforts throughout the region.

As always, people remain at the heart of this work.
Throughout the report, readers will meet individuals whose leadership, generosity and commitment continue to create ripple effects across industries and communities. Their stories are reminders that fighting trafficking is not the responsibility of one organization alone; it requires all of us working together.
TAT Executive Director Esther Goetsch reflected on this shared commitment in her letter opening the report:
“It may sound cliché, but together, we are driving real change — and our individual actions and collective commitment are what make the fight against trafficking possible.”
We are deeply grateful for every partner, donor, survivor leader, volunteer, advocate and frontline professional who made this work possible in 2025. Because of you, awareness is growing, systems are changing and more people are prepared to recognize and respond to sex and labor trafficking.
Together, we are making a difference.
